gleamspun is an independent knitwear design studio, creating knitting patterns for everyday wear.
The designs combine soft structure, moving colour, and intentional construction to create garments and accessories that are enjoyable to knit and easy to wear. Each pattern is designed with simplicity as well as adaptability in mind.
design philosophy
All patterns should feel enjoyable to knit and the knits be comfortable to wear. gleamspun designs favour recurring stitch patterns, balanced colour relationships, and fabrics that let softness interact with structure.
The goal is not complexity for its own sake, but patterns that invite knitters to settle into a comfortable rhythm while creating pieces they will reach for again and again.
